Post #16: Back in Bangkok on Day 99

Well... an 11 hour bus ride brought me back into Bangkok at 5:30 am.

chiang mai had been great.  I really loved the rock-climbing, must say that I got quite addicted to it.  at least this way I know how to fill up my free Fridays now - just need a climbing partner - Liz?

other than that just roamed and relaxed in chiang mai.  The trip out to the various tribes was a lot of fun.  The long necks were bizzar. Those brass rings were so increadibly heavy.  I honestly can't understand the things people do for beauty.  however, aside for the long necks and long ears the other tribes were what made the trip worthwhile.  They were so inreadibly friendly and nie.  Everyone smiling and chatting to us.  Inviting us into their houses and getting us to share their meals.  It's as if they never see tourists and yet they get groups every single day.  But anyways - the excursion was a nice break from all the physical activity.

However, somehow I have the impression I've written all of this already....  too much time has passed.  So yeah - it's day 99 and i'm basically killing time until Jordan arrives.  sort of sick of Bangkok by now.  He should be here some time around 2am then with about 4 hours of sleep we plan to go tackle some tigers.  we'll let you know how that goes.

Until then.
