Landscape of the rice paddies around Sapa. This is just a little bit of it. The fields were endless as were the mountains, but the iffy weather prevented me from exploring them more and from taking any better shots.
Susan Sontag once said "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list." I think that's a pretty accurate statement for me, since if given the chance, I would not pass up a single corner of this planet. (Well, maybe with the exception of a few). At this point in time, after having traveled through over 70 countries on 5 continents, it's hard to call this a travel bug. It is simply an insatiable passion that unfortunately is often at odds with a legal career.
For now, it is time to focus on life in the real world: the world in which I have to wear a suit as opposed to khakis and where I carry a briefcase as opposed to a backpack. But the camera is always with me, as are all the photos and stories that I have collected of the years. These here are only some of them.
