Double layered socks do come in handy - i just pittied Paulina for having to blow her nose into the kleenex that spent 2 hours travelling in my sock. But at least this way we could watch our pants dry again without wetting our passports and cash.
Really love your site and wanted to say thanks for sharing your pics and stories, which are really inspirational. I'm an English teacher and I'm thinking of picking up work in southeast Asia at some point. Which spots would you recommend most to travel to? Yours, Alex, your piano teacher's son asitkowi@alumni.sfu.ca
Susan Sontag once said "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list." I think that's a pretty accurate statement for me, since if given the chance, I would not pass up a single corner of this planet. (Well, maybe with the exception of a few). At this point in time, after having traveled through over 70 countries on 5 continents, it's hard to call this a travel bug. It is simply an insatiable passion that unfortunately is often at odds with a legal career.
For now, it is time to focus on life in the real world: the world in which I have to wear a suit as opposed to khakis and where I carry a briefcase as opposed to a backpack. But the camera is always with me, as are all the photos and stories that I have collected of the years. These here are only some of them.
